WORKING SIXTY HOURS A WEEK RIGHT NOW, NURSES SHORTAGE AND ALL(THAT'S FIVE SHIFTS FROM 7P TO 7A FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW) SO AM ALREADY ON A SHORT FUSE...MADE A MISTAKE OF TAKING SOME TIMEOUT TO SURF THE NET A BIT AND RAN ACROSS A BLOG (THAT WILL REMAIN NAMELESS) WHO LISTED HER TOP TEN SEXIEST MEN ON NIGHT-TIME TELEVISION. VINCENT WAS NOT NUMBER ONE, HE WASN'T EVEN LISTED. BEING THERE WAS NO COMMENT BOX I E-MAILED HER SIMPLY SAYING THAT MY LIST WOULD HAVE INCLUDED MR. D'ONOFRIO AND HE WOULD BE FIRST ON MY LIST CERTAINLY ABOVE DAVID CARUSO-NOT PUTTING DOWN MR. CARUSO's acting ability but sexiness? THAT'S ALL I SAID, I SWEAR.

I GOT A PAGE OF VULGARITY BACK CALLING ME NAMES FOR ATTACKING HER CHOICES (WHAT ATTACK????) AND ENDING WITH THESE WORDS.

"I SAID THE TOP TEN SEXIEST MEN ON NIGHT-TIME TELEVISION NOT THE MOST UNTALENTED, FATTEST, UGLIEST ONES."

I ALMOST HAD AN ANEURYSM. AND STARTED TO RESPOND WHEN I FOLLOWED MY OWN ADVICE, WHEN ATTACKED..THINK ABOUT IT. ITS HER BLOG...I JUST WON'T EVER GO THERE AGAIN. THANK GOODNESS SHE HAD E-MAIL COMMENTS. I CAN BLOCK HER ADDRESS. BUT IF SHE HAD MY BLOG THEN SHE'D ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO ALL OF THE BLOGS I LINK TO.

TELL ME DID I DO RIGHT BY NOT WRITING HER BACK AND ASKING HER IF SHE'D EVER EVEN SEEN THE BODY OF WORK OUR MAN HAS DONE? AND LOOK AT THIS FACE. EVEN AT ITS SCRUFFIEST WHEN HE WAS ON SUSPENSION IN PURGATORY IS HE NOT ADORABLE.

OK, you so did the right thing in not replying to her - the problem is obviously hers. You are not responsible for how she responds to replies to her blog!

You have no way of knowing if her dog just got run over or she just lost her crummy four-bucks-an-hour job at McDonalds, or if her neighbour stole her Sunday newspapers, or if her husband just got arrested for molesting chimpanzees at Bronx Zoo. Or whatever.

Plus, you're tired, and you have been working very hard. You went on-line to get a little R & R before retiring ... yeah, I get that. The last thing you expected was to be caught up in the middle of this stupid woman's Very Bad Day.

Her response was childish and obviously an over-reaction. Your response was mature and KEWL.

Vincent is the kind of guy who inspires very strong feelings in people. For most of us who comment here, he is WONDERFUL. People who have worked with him have a mixed response, but the overwhelming number of people I spoke to when I was researching stuff for Team 13 LOVED THE FRIKKIN' PANTS OFF HIM. And I am talking about men, women, children, gay straight or undecided. But I imagine that there have to be an equal number of unfortunate people for whom he is just an over-rated, over-weight, over-paid middle-aged scruff bag of a man who shuffles around and mumbles his line.

See, some people just don't GET him! Irritating though this is, personally I just feel really sorry for those folks, because they are really missing out on some of the best and most in-depth character acting of our generation. Plus, these people are missing out on the wonderful friendship that I have discovered in many of his fans. Take strength in that. Based on what you've told us about her response, who do you think might have more on-line mates - her or you???

Pity her. Let her silly childish slings and arrows fly RIGHT OVER YOUR HEAD.

CAN I JUST SAY HOW THAT PICTURE IS BRIGHTENING MY SAD DULL SUNDAY MORNING. I know which side MY bread is buttered, that's for sure! Fwoooaaarr.
