basricAlex turned the ignition and glanced at Bobby, “I called in our lunch break where do you wanna go?”
“I don’t care”
“What do you feel like eating?”
“Anything. Really. You chose.”
“How about Mexican, we haven’t had that in a while.”
“No, hurts my stomach.”
“Well, how about Pizza.”
“Nah, no good places around here.”
“Wanna go to the park and get a dog?”
‘No need something more substantial.
“How about the deli?”
“Yeah, that’s good.”
“Bobby, this passive/aggressive crap is driving me crazy. Why couldn’t you just tell me you wanted pastrami?”
“You don’t have to be so snarky about it, Eames. Let’s just go to the deli.”
“Why didn’t you just say that in the first place?”
“I wanted to let you decide what you wanted.”
‘God damn men,’ she backed the SUV out into traffic.
