Vincent D'onofrio--Mr. Blue

Am I over-reacting when it pisses me off when I see commercials of The Taking of Pelham 123 with Denzil Washington. I know its just another remake, but why mess around with perfection? Okay so the story was weak but Vincent carried this movie..it is not one that needed to be remade as far as I am concerned. Is Hollywood running out of ideas for movies--all we are getting is remakes and sequels.

Mr. BLUE:

With thanks to Ms. Larson

I don't care to see either version, because that's the train line right by my apt. so I take it almost every day--do NOT need nightmares about crazy hijackers or whatever, thanks. Why do these movies always take place in New York?? Go terrorize another city for once! LOL

I think it would be an interesting experience to be terrorized by Vincent D'Onofrio. I'd be sorely tempted to giggle if he fixed me with The Look. Plus, I could utter the immortal line: "Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me?"

as vincent's pelham123 was a remake of the 1947 film we now seem to be getting remakes of remakes if you understand what i mean.x

You're right of course. Soon it will be remakes of remakes of remakes.

Still I loved it because Vincent in it. Maybe someone else will love whoever plays his character in this one. They pushed Washington so much as the good guy I never picked up on who is playing Mr, Blue...it always just ticked me off.

You know, they can make a remake, but they can't remake Vincent as Mr. Blue!!
Mr. Blue is just *plain hot* - even with the glasses!
