He was a major case squad detective. He knew he was insane.
Eighteen women had died servicing his need for peace, and no one suspected.
Use different methods, choose different types. Nothing tying the killings to a serial killer working within their midst.
His chosen one sat within reaching distance, but may as well have been a galaxy away. Alexandra. Even her name tasted of forbidden pleasures and pain.
But he could never have her as long as HE was her partner. All the other wouldn’t matter.
He would become Goren's mission. Goren wouldn't stop the search for her killer. Goren WOULD find him.
So, for now, she was safe.
