He scanned his coworkers. Detectives, his captain, even his partner saw what he wanted them to see. Shouldn’t they sense it?
Big, mild-mannered, shy, clumsy, genius...that’s what they saw. His partner thinking his restlessness was due to being unsettled about this case or that.
The fact was beneath the civilized gentle surface--a storm raged. Winds of fury howled in his head. Right beneath the surface lay a psychotic thug. And with each passing day that maniacal being came closer to escaping the cage Bobby kept him in.
If freed...with his knowledge, Clark Kent could disguise a killer worse than Bundy.
