A/N: I tried really I did but 140 is as much as I could cut it.
"Ha…the 'proof IS in the pudding'.
Alex looked across the desks at Bobby. "What the hell does that mean?"
"Actually the old proverb dates back to 1615..."
Alex chair scraped back. She was up and running towards the ladies' room hands over ears, “I didn't mean it."
He tried cutting her off, "The saying is actually..."
She burst through the door into safety. Lay gasping against it.
Bobby shuffled on the other side, "Alex…you are being childish...knowledge is..."
"My brain will explode with one more irrelevant fact.”
"Irrelevant? Every fact is…"
"Go away. Not listening."
"You're being childish."
Was that...the ping of the elevator?
"Hey, Goren."

"Logan...you ever heard..." his voice dwindled away and Alex sagged with relief against the door wrapped in relief with no sympathy for Logan.
Returning to her desk later Bobby gave her a scolding look. "At least Logan's open to learning. Glancing back at Logan's glassy eyes, Alex's eyes rolled.
"I can see that, Bobby."
