10. Director Vance
The Director is a man you love to hate. You can't tell whether he is a good guy or a bad one. At one point he will go our of his way to back Gibbs when he needs it. Then he will do something, shred files take strange calls, butt heads with Gibbs to a point where you think he may not be such a good guy.
09. MCGEE
The loveable Geek who can't decide whether he feels like a brother or potential lover for Abby. McGee does the computer grunt work and is a star at it. I like how he mentions its illegal to tap into another government agency's file knowing Gibbs will give him that look that he knows means AND?
08.DUCKY
Who can't love Ducky with his quick wit. He is the only one who stands up to and even berates him when he believes Gibbs goes too far. He took care of his mom until she died. He is a wonderful character.
07. HEAD SLAP
One of the best part of NCIS is that they are like a family. Gibbs as the father. And as the father he uses his now famous head slap on his proteges and even himself It bring humor to what could be a very dark serious drama.
06.ABBY
How could you not love Abby with all her eccentricities and quirkiness. She plays Heavy Metal Rock music while she works. She is addicted to CAF POW's a drink with serious caffeine and Gibbs encourages her to work longer and harder by supplying her with them. Abby has helped solve many cases because she looks outside the box.
05.ZIVA
Lovely Ziva David who knows more ways to kill a person than there are days in a year. She has a tough exterior but we've seen the soft underbelly she has. Ziva has a tender heart well hidden. The sexual chemistry between her and Tony is amusing to watch. Gibbs is very protective of her.
04. TONY
Tony is a self proclaimed ladies man. With his good looks and sharp wit its probably true. He has commitment problems, which make for amusing situations. Especially with Ziva who takes any opportunity to throw his machismo back in his face. Tony is Gibbs go to man. Gibbs knows he can always count on Tony.
03. Blood Relations and Friends
We have had interesting interaction with the families of our intrepid group. Ziva's father gave us insight into why Ziva guards her heart, Tony's Dad let us see why Tony has commitment issues. Gibbs and his father that is one interesting situation. The Love Ducky showed for his mother, then her loss broke our hearts.

Gibbs is love. I could write pages on Gibbs. He is a complicated man with his own demons that make him who he is. He treats his agents like family for they are his family. He loves each and every one of them.
01. FAMILY
I think this is the reason this show is number one. The family element between co-workers. Each one cares deeply about the other. Gibbs, the father figure, is there to support them through their pain, work and personally. This is my number one reason for watching the show. This interaction between the family group including Ducky, Abby.

I love your view on them all..I have noticed the scrip writers will throw in the odd referance to 'Man From Uncle' which David McCallam (Ducky) was in.It makes it fun...
