My Muse is a night owl. Sometimes between the hour when I go to bed to when Morpheus comes to claim me, my Muse materializes and whispers to me. If I have been given a prompt on which to write; my Muse spins it, sometimes, it may be an idea, just an outline and at other appearances will whisper entire stories.

If I haven’t been given a prompt by one of my Landcoms, my Muse will create characters and write their stories, spinning tales in my mind. I rise and make notations in a journal for those stories to be written later.

What inspires my Muse … sometimes, a word overheard a scene at work, an adventure while out with friends or maybe something on television. It could be anything I saw or heard that day that will inspire my muse.

If my muse vacations for a bit, I can go to the notebook. For writing in ILIDOL I sue my journals from my work at the hospital or out the with Trauma Team during disasters.

The hardest part when dealing with a muse is a night owl, it sometimes determined to keep me awake until the story is completed. Also, there is a possibility that what the muse inspired will be lost with the dream of the night.

I so agree with that statement.
I like it when you write your gentle thoughts. Thank you for writing this.x
