as a challenge we all made bases, then 2nd part take bases of everyone and make icons for prompts. Some were even ten times worse than mine--hence the unusual effects. it was challenging. My daughter who is a master at it gave up at 24 because she could do nothing with them. I did 11 or 112, lost one somewhere.

i understand that everyone made bases, but what i'm not sure is if your mod or challenge maker didn't specify what a base is. a base is a cropped screencap/image that is not editted. when you take a screencap and crop it and alter the lighting/color/etc of it you don't have a base anymore. you have an actual icon. it's not fair to those that have to use the 'base' if the base maker has toyed with it.
