I am trying to learn willing to accept any criticism r advice to help me improve. Tell me what I am doing wrong if you see it. I don't need to be placated as you sw by my icon "Photoshop, you suck, delete."

Okay, here is my detailed critic:

First of all, I'm not the non plus ultra in icon making. I also still learn day by day, icon by icon. I really love to follow good and interesting tutorials too learn more about PS. There are so many options left I didn't use yet. Feel free for more discussion. I would love to talk more about icon making.

In general: you tend to change the propotions of caps --> your icons. Sometimes [here: 4, 27, 31, 38...] heads are longer than they should be. Maybe that is a capping problem, or you change something while cropping. Or you really want that effect and like it and only I don't like it. [I saw it in your CI icons as well.]

The effect you used in #12 is interesting. I like it as background but in #15+42 is it too much for me. Maybe if that is a new layer, reduce the opacity a little bit. Also in #49: too much of it, even if it is the background.

The text in #22 is very bad readable. I also have most of my icon problems with adding text. How to make it readable, not covering something and also as intersting eyecatcher? In the most cases a simple light yellow glow around is my solution.

Sorry, I don't like #38 at all.

Rotation: urg, always when I read the theme rotation I scream. I'm bad in it but your 12 theme icons are great.

Team Icons: the text is better than in #22, but a bit boring. Don't ask me how to make it more interesting. You only used three fonts. Maybe a little bit variation would destroy the boringness?
#74 is GREAT!

The Family icons are cute, beside #86. It's hard to catch what you wanna show us. I only watch the first minutes of Castle and then let my mom alone with her show. Maybe all Castle fans know what to see there.

To have a lyric theme is even worse than rotate...lol. Here you have to use text all the way. #105 is awesome. Really good. In #95 the text is a great eye catcher, but I had moved SHOT and the line of the T a tiny little bit higher so it doesn't cover Kate's eye.

You're really good in playing with blur and sharpness in the same icon.

Background and daughter in #84 are perfect. It's not visible that you deleted the background for the fake background. Perfect work for the blurring the contours.

Love 32, 34, 54, 57, 58, 60.

#45 is great. But I had sharpened the face a tiny bit more. The blur effect around is amazing.

#17 is so funny.
