When I was 'reading', well, listening to The Return of Native, there was an interesting superstition mentioned. "No moon no man." Which 'proved right', too, for one of the country boys born in the dark of the moon, since 'no woman would have' him.

Is this one still known today? :-)

I do not know of any modern ones concerning moon phases.
