Well I admit to being in a slight dip of depression since Mom died. Barely the energy to make comments or read. Finally sat down and watched both seasons of TRUE BLOOD. First season stuck to the book and while the Maryann continuing storyline was good I was not happy with the writer straying from Sookie kicking Bill loose and becoming more attached to Eric. Ball seems to be trying to make us hate Eric. Loved the dream sequence not long enough. Have found some TRUE BLOOD sites with great fan fiction now. Though I still love my LOCI.

Hosted the Christmas party for the night Trauma floor at my house last night. Went well and helped greatly with my depression. Have another party for close friends Wednesday--most don't work the eve.

Am rambling. Hope you are all well into the Christmas spirit.

a depression would be expected, I would think. She was your mummy.

Season three will be promising on the E/S side from everything alan has said.

We can always hope. Its been awhile since I read the Sookie books. Is three where Eric loses his memory and Sookie takes him in. If so I hope that is put into the show.

No that's season 4 but Alan has said that will definitely happen when it's time to go there.

I'm having problems with the spirit. This will be the second Christmas without my Dad. For some reason I just can't crawl out of the holiday funk I'm in.

It's hard. The worst time is the night when I lay awake and think about things I can't change. So what's the point. But still I can't seem to stop. I did the same thing after my Dad died years ago.

The depression is more than understandable. I have been keeping you in my prayers. *hugs*

You are right about Ball he seems to be fixated on people not liking Eric. He has said before that he likes Bill's character though he did say we would get amnesia eric when the time comes :)

I enjoyed both seasons two strayed way off the book path in some ways but hey that isn't always bad.

So glad the party went well.x Never heard of True Blood. Xmas is sad for us so we don't do it. Glad when it's all over.x

Losing a parent takes so much time to recover from. ::hug::
