friending

Tis the season where some review their friends list and make cuts. I am not one of these. I only un-friend if you become a troll. I am not usually a personal blogger. At times when my life overwhelms me is vent but I usually use my blog for a few fandoms. I READ ALL OF YOURS. I TRY to comment on all I read but sometimes a response doesn't seem required or I don't have a clue what you are talking about.

I LJ-cut my writings so my LOCI friends aren't irritated by my True Blood, Russel Crowe or Hockey stuff and visa versa.

I ask those of you who are friended with me and thinking of culling yours down, that I like to remain friended so I can read YOUR stuff. With my job I don't have a lot of time to blog and read and I would rather read and commiserate or laugh with you or be impressed than bore you.

So basically I guess all this rambling is please allow me to keep access as your friend. You all make my life brighter.

Another note if I haven't commented in a while PM me because LJ has had a tendency to delete my notifications...maybe it was just the December upgrades I hope.

Keep writing my friends, you have at lest 1 person out here reading and who cares.

Yeah I don't get that one. I tend not to un-friend people just to do it. I also tend not to comment unless words come to mind*, despite reading the vast majority of posts.

*Occasionally these words are shall we say, a few bricks shy of a shilling.

Oh no worries. I've only unfriended two people in the past 18 months, and they were people I realized after friending that I didn't like them very much. This will not happen to you.

Alternatively, sometimes I am too drained to comment much, unless I feel moved to do so. It's never personal. And I always read what you write (except the LOCI fanfic, only because I rarely read any LOCI fanfic. Like, I've read two in the past year and that was because I was editing them! Just not my thing, just as slash isn't yours.).

I'm glad we have come to this understanding. :)

I don't ever worry about it. So you don't have to on my end.

I honestly haven't seen any posts that you've made recently but that could just be because of the international time difference and I've just missed the post. I'll try to be a better LJ friend.

I love reading your comments on my entries. ♥

I'm the same, I don't think I've ever had a cull of my friends list. The few people I've unfriended have been because I've not agreed with the way that they've posted/behaved. :-)

I also don't always have time to comment, but I do try to read everything on my friends list. :-) It's nice when you get a comment on your entry, but it's not essential, and it's nice to see what's going on for people online. :-D

I don't always comment on things as sometimes it's all been said. Some of peoples storys I don't know the chatactors so don't know what to put as a comment. I unfriend people who when I take the time to comment come back nasty to me.Also if people don't comment at all on any of my posts why should I take the time to read and comment on there'res.

I can't see myself ever unfriending you. :)

Don't worry. I'm not unfriending you (or anyone--yet). I can't comment on locked entries of yours that are under a cut until I'm eighteen, which you already know, but I try to comment on the unlocked ones!
