UNDERCOVER BLUES
WORD COUNT: 262

This movie was released in 1993 It remains one of my favorite comedy movies. Zit stars Kathleen Turner as Jan Blue and Dennis Quaid as Jefferson (Jeff Blue). Both are ex-CIA agents who have retired to raise their new daughter

Stanley Tucci is the comedy relief and his encounters with Jeff and Jane insisting he is Muerte or death while Jeff continues to his rage Morty. Muerte becomes obsessed with besting then both and only ends up in one hysterical situation after the other. He makes a mistake the first night trying to rob Jeff when he was out with the baby. Jeff takes his time taunting and playing with them before he takes them out with the baby’s stroller. Then, it is on. To save face Morty MUST get Blue.

Meanwhile, as they deal with Morty, the CIA is pushing them to take one more case there in New Orleans against an old nemesis. He then conned them into the mess the CIA had made with enough money to fund their daughter’s college fund. Their final “battle” is hysterical.

With characters like the couple met at dinner who baby sit played by Tom Arnold and the beleaguered detective trying to catch Jeff, positive he is up to something just leads to one funny moment after the other. Finally Jeff includes the detective who discovers he didn’t want to be involved after all

If you are feeling down I highly recommend you take time to watch this little know movie. You will laugh until you cry. I found it delightful.
